CoopCast is a software application which allows to broadcast audio or video streams over Internet by using smartly resources. CoopCast makes use of the "peer to peer" technology to also allow the broadcasting in case of limited bandwidth. It is composed of two programs, CoopCast Peer and CoopCast Tracker. Actualy, it support the WMA/WMV format over the HTTP transport protocol. CoopCast is perfectly compatible with the streams gotten through the Microsoft Windows Media Encoder.
